Comings and Goings at Holy Cross

A new vicar has been found for Holy Cross! We look forward to welcoming Rev’d David Pearson and his wife in December when they join us from Barking. The date for the licensing has been set for Monday 21st December at 8.00pm, just in time for Christmas!
However, we also bring the sad news that our curate David Pickering is moving on
to pastures new, having completed his curacy. David, wife Pip and son Jonny will
be moving to Oxfordshire, where David will be priest-
David reflects on his curacy at Holy Cross:
‘Can I say how encouraging it has been to be at
Holy Cross these past three years. It has been
very exciting to see how God has been at work,
growing his church here and inspiring people to
follow him. Holy Cross is full of life and God is
doing new things in his church here, and we will
be praying that continues.’
We wish David, Pip and Jonny well for their future
in Oxfordshire. We will miss them very much.
